The Matterhorn is a part of the Swiss Alps and in the heart of it all is the village of Zermatt. From the quietness of yesteryear is now a top ski resort, in a picturesque setting with spectacular views of the great mountain and twenty-eight others around it, still able to remain quiet. There are no cars in this village, everyone travels by foot or by train.
